Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year
We are seeking a skilled and detail-driven Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values client relationships, and has a passion for high-end finishes and tenant improvement work.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead preconstruction planning, including budgets, schedules, subcontractor bidding, and scope definition.
- Oversee contract negotiations, procurement, and vendor/subcontractor management.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and field teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain project documentation, track budgets, and manage schedules in Procore or similar software.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Anticipate potential challenges, proactively resolving issues to maintain timelines and budgets.
- Mentor and lead project teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven success managing office tenant improvement and/or high-end interior finishes projects.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
- Proficiency with construction management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Office TI, corporate interiors, and luxury finish work.
- Local market knowledge and existing subcontractor relationships.
- Ground-up experience a plus, but not required.
