Statement of teaching philosophy (up to two pages) specifically addressing the applied nature of Electromechanical Engineering Technology. Statement of research philosophy and how it would be applied to enrich teaching within our curriculum (limit to 2 pages each).

First, refer to the Cal Poly Pomona online catalog for the list of Electromechanical Engineering Department courses for our BS Program. See: (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Then prepare, from the list of courses in the Cal Poly Pomona catalog, three lists: (a) courses the candidate is prepared to teach with minimal preparation, (b) courses they can teach with some additional preparation, and (c) new courses they would like to develop for the Department.

While the emphasis is on the Electromechanical Systems Program, also include courses from the Electronic Systems Program. Unofficial transcripts showing the highest degree earned. The names, titles, addresses, and telephone numbers of at least three individuals who can serve as references and speak to the candidate's potential for success in this position.

Finalists for the position will:

* be required to provide official transcripts for the highest degree before the on-campus interview;

* be required to provide three letters of reference dated within the last two years;

* Final candidates being interviewed are expected to make a presentation of creative work and a teaching demonstration to faculty and interact with students.

Salary range for an Academic Year Appointment: $110,160 - $112,356
