desired qualifications: prior experience working with students in a k-8 grade setting. Knowledgeable in the areas of: visual and performing arts, mathematics, science, language arts, technology, health and nutrition, or youth development is preferred.

Educational requirements:

graduation from high school or ged and have one (1) of the following from an accredited college/university: a.) completed 48 semester units or 72 quarter units, or b.) associate's degree, or c.) bachelor's degree if you do not meet college options (a-c), you would then be required to pass pomona unified school district's instructional aide test.

* list up to three professional references. Foreign transcripts: transcripts issued outside the united states require a course-by-course analysis with an equivalency statement from a certified transcript evaluation service verifying the degree equivalency to that of an accredited institution within the usa. This report must be attached with the application and submitted by the filing deadline.
