Salary Range $16.90 - $20.45 Hourly Position Type Part Time

The YMCA of Orange County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are actively seeking highly engaged, intentional, and service-oriented individuals for part-time Middle School Youth Development Staff to work with Middle School students in the Pomona Valley area. This role is an opportunity to directly impact the lives of children and families by fostering genuine connections, practicing exceptional hospitality, and creating a safe, positive, and enriching environment where every interaction is meaningful.

Location:

Lorbeer Middle School, Simon Middle School and Marshall Middle School. Staff must be willing and able to drive in between Pomona Valley schools as needed.

Work Schedule :

Monday
- Friday

1:00pm to 6pm.

  Guide children (ages 11-14) through curriculum-aligned activities (STEM, arts, homework).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum Age: 18+ years old.
• Experience:
  
  6 months experience working with children preferred in an after-school, camp, or daycare setting.
• Education Requirements:
  
  48 college units or passing proficiency exam prior to hire for (non-licensed/ASES programs).
• Required Documents:
  Please upload transcripts when applying.
• Upon hire, our onboarding process requires a Live Scan background check, a saliva-based drug screening, a TB test and/or physical exam, a reference check, standard onboarding paperwork, and copies of your TDAP and MMR vaccine records.
