Lecturer – Communication (Part-Time)

Location:

Pomona, California. Temporary instructional faculty – initial one semester appointment with potential renewal based on enrollment and funding.

• Oral Communication
• Multimedia Production
• Written Communication

• Teach assigned courses in the department’s curriculum.
• Serve weekly office hours based on teaching unit load.
• Courses may be scheduled day, evening, or weekend.

• Master’s degree in communication or related discipline (waiver possible with extensive professional experience).
• Desire to work with diverse student populations and colleagues.

• Ph.D. in communication or related discipline.
• Prior college or university teaching experience and evidence of strong teaching.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Initial rank and salary prorated to units:
Lecturer A $5,507–$6,677 per month;
Lecturer B $6,221–$13,224;
Lecturer C $6,825–$14,523;
Lecturer D $8,593–$15,211. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, tuition assistance.
