To be considered for a position within the classification of Child Development Substitute Teacher you must meet the experience and educational requirements. Selected applicant must receive livescan clearance through Department of Social Services for Community Care Licensing. Please note that omitting one or more of the documents required may result in your application being removed from consideration.

Certificate Copy (Child Dev. Associate Teacher Permit or higher) Copy of Transcript (Degree conferred and/or completion of 12 Early Childhood Education units) CPR/First Aid Certification (desirable) Letter(s) of Recommendation (must be dated within the last 3 years. One must be from a recent immediate supervisor) Resume (including 3 professional references with phone number and email addresses)

Employment is contingent upon fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice. Fingerprints will be taken at the time the position is accepted. There is a fee of $44.00 for fingerprinting. Payment is due at the time of service in the form of a money order, cashier's check or cash – PERSONAL CHECKS NOT ACCEPTED.

Current employees of the Pomona Unified School District have already received fingerprint clearance; therefore, it is not necessary to clear again for a new position.
