The Political Science Department offers a bachelor's degree in Political Science with courses in six subfields:
American Politics,Public Administration, Public Law, Political Theory, International Relations, and Comparative Politics. We also offer a master'sdegree in Public Administration. The undergraduate program valuesresearch, with a strong capstone program, offering majors the opportunity to complete a senior project centered around apublic-service internship or thesis. The department also has astrong tradition in teaching its students cutting-edge research methodologies. We also offer and prioritize several polytechnic,small-group experiences including National Model United Nations,Model Organization of American States, Judicial Internship, and department Study Away/Study Abroad programs (e.g., Sacramento, Iowa Caucuses, Japan, Italy, England, Switzerland).

Candidates may need to be available to begin teaching on short notice. The Fall term begins in late August and ends inmid-December; the Spring term begins mid-January and ends inmid-May.
