Mesa seeks a Senior Engineer to lead multiple transmission line projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for directing engineers, designers, and technicians to complete projects and must have the knowledge to review designs and deliverables for quality, safety, and constructability. Future growth into management (Group Lead) is required.
Education, Experience, and Licensure- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university
- 8+ years of Transmission Line experience
- California PE is required
- Experience with Southern California utilities (specifically SCE)
- Lead projects from Start to Finish
- Train / Mentor less senior/experienced Engineering associates and designers
- Review designs and deliverables
- Promote Mesa culture
- Decision Making: Intermediate
- Civil Engineer: Advanced
- CAD: Intermediate
- Transmission Line Engineer: Advanced
- Microsoft Office: Intermediate
- Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well

- Bachelor's or better in Civil Engineering.
- 8 years of experience designing Transmission Lines for Southern California utilities.
