Job Title

Manage and develop new projects after data collection, research, and analysis. Research and present ideas to improve current processes. Collect and analyze data to support decision-making in project development. Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent). Five to seven years of relevant experience.

PLS Tower. Lattice Tower. Load Calculation.

California Civil PE License required (Structural preferred). Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Minimum 7 years of experience in transmission line engineering. Hands-on experience with PLS Tower (PLS-CADD) and FAD Tools.

Lead structural engineering tasks for lattice towers and foundations in complex transmission line projects. Serve as a subject matter expert in PLS Tower analysis and modeling of new and existing lattice structures. Lead design and review of new or existing transmission line foundations (drilled shafts, direct embed, micro pile, and grillage) using FAD Tools, hand calculations, or similar programs. Perform load calculations based on NESC, California General Order 95, and applicable codes.

Oversee construction administration, coordinate with field personnel, resolve design-related issues, and support emergency restorations (wildfires, storms, and other incidents). Conduct field inspections and prepare engineering mitigation reports for damaged towers and foundations. Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to less experienced engineers. Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders. Ensure adherence to QA/QC processes and compliance with safety standards.

Hybrid schedule in Pomona, CA. At least 2 days per week in office (Wednesday & Thursday).
