The Department of Civil Engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturerpool in Civil Engineering for part-time teaching appointments.

Pomona is one of three polytechnic universities in the 22-campus

California State University system and among 12 such institutions nationwide. The Civil Engineering Department at Cal Poly Pomona is a leader inpolytechnic education. As the largest undergraduate civil engineering program in the United States, we graduate approximately
15 percent of California's new civil engineers. We offer a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MSCE). Our undergraduate program featuresoptions in General Civil, Environmental, and Geospatial Engineering, alongside a degree in Construction Engineering and Management. At the graduate level, the MSCE program offersspecializations in Construction Engineering and Management,Environmental and Water Resources, Geotechnical, Structural, and Transportation Engineering.

The temporary faculty pool is continuously open, and positions arefilled as needed, based on student enrollment and funding.

Candidates may need to be available to begin teaching  Fall term begins in late August and ends inmid-December; the Spring term begins mid-January and ends inmid-May.
