Licensed Behavioral Health Specialist Per Diem

FULLY REMOTE

• Provide supervision and mentorship to Community Health Workers, offering guidance on case management, therapeutic techniques, and professional development.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the psychological and behavioral needs specific to justice‑involved clients.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on reducing recidivism and promoting positive behavior change.
• Provide therapeutic interventions that may include cognitive‑behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and other evidence‑based practices.
• Work closely with probation officers, legal professionals, and correctional facilities to coordinate care and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Support clients in developing life skills, such as anger management, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and shared experiences.
• Assist clients in accessing social services, educational programs, and employment opportunities to support their transition back into the community.
• Track client progress and provide regular updates to the relevant authorities as required.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Develop therapeutic strategies tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals, families, and groups.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Advocate for clients to access necessary services and resources.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans.

• Medicaid and Medicare eligible.
• Must have a NPI.
• Must be a licensed LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD.
