Principal SAP BTP-Integration Suite Consultant

Overview

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP BTP-Integration Suite Consultant. As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluate solution options, and make recommendations. You will plan activities, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots, and assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design.

You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops, and prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budgets and the organization’s financial guidelines. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

The role includes leading and contributing to consulting activities such as:

• Plan configuration activities and configure the product according to design specifications.
• Conduct conference room pilots and assist in resolving requirements and solution-design queries.
• Lead solution/product demonstrations and POC/workshops.
• Prepare effort estimates in line with customer budgets and organizational guidelines.
• Support knowledge transfer and deliver value-adding consulting solutions for clients.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
• This position may require travel to project/client locations, including Pomona, CA.

• At least 11 years of experience in SAP middleware integration, including SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience in at least 8 to 10 Integration Implementation projects using SAP Integration Suite.
• Architecture and solution design: analysis of integration requirements with internal customers and IT colleagues.
• Support and influence SAP integration, API and data flow architectures, considering an API-first approach.
• Identify processing and performance optimization opportunities.
• Proactive evaluation of new SAP features in Integration Suite (e.g., Integration Advisor, Trading Partner Management).
• Understanding of SAP functional areas and overall SAP architecture.
• Subject matter expertise in SAP integration.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing complex integration scenarios with various patterns and protocols using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Deep understanding of pre-packaged integration content and effective use of the same.
• Proven expertise in developing enterprise-grade, robust iFlows for SAP and non-SAP systems in A2A and B2B for both asynchronous and synchronous communication.
• Proficiency in implementing integration patterns like Content-based routing, Scatter-Gather, and Splitter.
• Expertise in integration scenarios using adapters such as HTTP, IDOC, JDBC, File, SOAP, REST, Odata, Graph, etc.
• Expertise in using mapping techniques such as message mapping, XSLT mapping, and Groovy scripting.
• Experience with exception handling mechanisms for integration flows.
• Understanding of QoS concepts such as Guaranteed Delivery, retry mechanisms, and idempotent receivers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues to ensure stability and performance.
• Proficiency in integration message monitoring and logging.
• Good understanding of inbound and outbound adapter security configurations.
• Experience with Transport Management in Integration Suite.
• Expertise in Groovy scripts.
• Experience with IS-API management (creating API providers, APIs, policies, and API Products).
• In-depth understanding of API authorization, authentication, access control, and related policies.
• Experience with event-driven integrations using event mesh technology.
• Knowledge of Integration Advisor, Integration Advisory methodology, and trading partner management.
