DESKTOP ENGINEER
Position Summary: The Desktop Engineer troubleshoots and resolves computer hardware, software and related technology device problems. This position also maintains, installs, upgrades, and configures computer hardware, software, devices and the overall desktop experience. Additionally, the Desktop Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining and deploying hardware and software standards to meet the needs of the organization. Must be able to travel, work different shifts, after hours and be on‑call.
May perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years’ experience in a computer/user support environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware, software, and related technology device problems.
- Experience in, but not limited to, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Office and other standard software.
- Customer service oriented and able to take direction, manage time and workload, and communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
- Able to lift/carry 20–40 pounds.
- Computer/user support environment in a healthcare related field.
- Healthcare‑related software experience.
Salary range: $34.37 - $48.37 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
