Job Title: 1st Shift Janitorial Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated janitor worker to perform general cleaning and sanitation tasks in both office and warehouse areas. This role involves maintaining cleanliness in restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas, sweeping, mopping, and ensuring the tidiness of warehouse floors, dock areas, and walkways, as well as removing debris from shipping and receiving areas. The position requires completion of daily sanitation records and monitoring the facility perimeter to keep it free from litter.

The position operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm on the 1st Shift, in an SQF-certified facility, emphasizing high cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and sanitation of office and warehouse areas.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas.

• Sweep, mop, and maintain warehouse floors, dock areas, and walkways.

• Remove debris and maintain cleanliness in shipping and receiving areas.

• Complete and maintain daily sanitation and cleaning records.

• Monitor and help ensure the facility and property perimeter remain clean and free of litter and debris.

• Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures.

• Assist with additional facility maintenance tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Janitorial experience.

• Ability to follow strict sanitation, cleaning, and food safety procedures in an SQF-certified facility.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a food manufacturing, food distribution, or other regulated sanitation environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with food manufacturing processes and cleaning standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pomona, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
