Looking for a Sr. Project Managerto perform the following duties at client Pomona office:

Typical Responsibilities:

Lead/manage multiple, programmatic projects (between 150 – 200 small/medium projects within a portfolio) with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and outcomes

Provides direction for the project team and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle including, scoping and project initiation, planning and design, dependencies (e.g., material delivery, environmental, permitting), construction, and project close-out activities

Direct involvement in tasks necessary for successful project execution. Identifies problems and solutions. Collaborates to establish project objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones, and deliverables and budgets.

Utilizes project controls in exercising budget and schedule management, forecasting, performance monitoring such as variance analysis, maintaining schedules and project plans, identifying trends, and assessing performance against budget targets

Works independently with minimal project analytical support (e.g., responsible to manage action items, process change control, set meeting agendas, take meeting minutes)

Resolves issues and ensures task completion by establishing priorities and resolving conflicts with team members and functional managers

Understands and uses PM core concepts; can learn processes and portfolio

Organized, good communicator, strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and proactive

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Experience:

Required:

Skilled in Excel, Microsoft Projects, and SAP; some knowledge of P6.

7+ years of project management experience with projects in the field

Required:

Skilled in Excel, Microsoft Projects, Teams, SAP, Primavera P6

Preferred:
Electric utility / utility operations experience

PMP (Preferred)
