Job Title: Assembler
Location: 829 Towne Center Drive Pomona CA 91767
Duration: 11 Months of Contract + possible extension
Pay: $20/hr on W2
Job Summary:
The Assembler I is responsible for performing assembly, filling, packaging, and production support activities in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role involves setting up equipment, following detailed work instructions, completing documentation, performing quality checks, and supporting continuous improvement activities. Candidates should have experience with assembly, packaging, reagent filling, or similar manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assembly, filling, packaging, and preparation operations according to work instructions and quality standards
Set up and adjust manufacturing equipment used for production processes
Operate equipment such as Masterflex systems and perform accurate volume filling
Read and follow work orders, procedures, and production documentation
Complete paperwork and manufacturing records accurately (GMP documentation)
Inspect, test, and verify products according to specifications
Perform line clearance, housekeeping, and basic equipment maintenance tasks
Assist Engineering and Maintenance teams with troubleshooting and equipment support
Support quality improvement activities such as 5S and process improvements
Follow safety, FDA, ISO, GMP, and OSHA guidelines
Handle and dispose of materials according to safety procedures
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
2 5 years of experience in assembly, filling, packaging, or manufacturing environment
Experience with reagent filling/packaging preferred
Ability to read and follow work instructions and documentation
Basic math skills and basic computer skills
Basic Excel knowledge preferred
Comfortable completing written paperwork and production records
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods and rotate between tasks
Preferred Experience:
Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing experience
Food manufacturing/packaging experience acceptable
Knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO, and quality systems
Experience with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
