Follow blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal instructions to accurately construct sheet metal components;
Lay out, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials using various tools;
Convert blueprints into shop drawings for construction and assembly processes;
Select appropriate gauges and types of metal or non-metallic materials based on product specifications;
Drill and punch holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets, and assemble components using welds, bolts, rivets, and other fastening methods
