Schedule & Pay
Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 PM Training:
First 3 months on 1st shift
Hourly: $19.98 + $0.40 shift differential
What your day looks like Configure, program, test, and fine-tune fabrication equipment to shear, pierce, extrude, bend, and form material to spec.
Shear bus bar and steel using dedicated shear machinery.
Run work orders in sequence according to the production plan or expedite as directed.
Read and interpret blueprints to produce parts exactly as designed.
Install, align, swap, and lock punches, dies, and other fixtures as needed.
Interface with an industrial robot (when applicable) to pick/place stock onto conveyors or other devices.
Load, position, and secure materials with fixtures, clamps, and stops on the machine.
Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot via operator controls to resolve issues.
Inspect finished pieces for defects such as burrs, jagged edges, or marred surfaces.
Measure parts with squares, tape measures, calipers, and related tools to verify tolerances.
Mark each part with proper identification.
Stack finished components accurately on carts, conveyors, or designated devices.
Dispose of scrap and nonconforming material appropriately.
Initiate scrap tickets to trigger replacement orders when needed.
Partner with Material Handlers to ensure copper, aluminum, cold-rolled steel, galvanized steel, and other materials are on hand.
Keep machines, tools, and your work area clean for reliable performance and safe conditions.
If operating at Class A level, perform or assist maintenance with necessary equipment repairs.
Operate a forklift and other powered material handling equipment to load machines and unload incoming raw materials.
Basic qualifications
Comfort with basic shop math.
Ability to read and write.
Read and understand mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of material.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand for up to 10 hours.
Operate common hand and power tools.
GED or equivalent experience.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred qualifications
Prior fabrication experience in a manufacturing setting.
Experience with CNC programming.
