Travel ICU Registered Nurse

TNAA Total Med RN seeks a travel ICU RN (Intensive Care Unit Med Surg) for a 13‑week assignment in Pomona, California. The role is a 36‑hour week schedule divided into 12‑hour shifts.

As an ICU Travel Nurse, you will evaluate, monitor, and provide direct patient care in an ICU setting. You will document and implement physician‑directed care plans, delegate tasks to team members, and provide education and support to patients’ families. Key duties include:

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Collect laboratory samples, order corresponding work, and interpret results.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpreting electronic displays.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing.
• Communicate patients’ conditions to family members.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIH certification and 2 years of ICU experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Experience working with patients who may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.
