Role:
Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) responsible for supporting plasma collection operations.
Key Duties:- Determine donor eligibility
- Manage adverse events
- Review lab results
- Notify donors of unsuitable tests
- Support donor safety through physical exams
- Medical histories
- Adherence to SOPs
- Manage medical emergencies
- Refer complex issues to physicians
- Assist with vaccination programs
- Handle employee incidents
- Support EHS guidelines
- May serve as Pandemic Coordinator
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid nursing license (RN, NP, or PA)
- CPR/AED certification
- Basic IV therapy certification
- At least two years of clinical experience
- Must complete FDA-approved training
- Knowledge of plasma industry regulations
- Strong customer service
- Emergency response skills
- Ability to work under guidance from center management and medical staff
