Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Pomona, CA | Acute Care Hospital

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform vaginal exams and deliver comprehensive baby care throughout the labor and delivery process
• Manage and support patients across a range of birth volumes, from fewer than 100 to more than 300 births
• Utilize Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) skills to assess and respond to fetal status during labor
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Fulfill weekend requirements of 2 weekends every 6 weeks as part of the standard schedule

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license — must be active at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• AWHONN Advanced certification required
• NRP Advanced certification required — must include all 11 components
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• Local candidates are welcome

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level II Trauma Center facility
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system
• Demonstrated experience across varied birth volume environments

• Work within a prestigious Magnet-designated, teaching hospital recognized as a Level II Trauma Center with 412 staffed beds
