Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Pomona, CA | Acute Care Hospital

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform vaginal examinations and deliver hands-on baby care throughout the labor and delivery process
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns using advanced fetal monitoring techniques
• Support patients across a range of birth volumes, from fewer than 100 to more than 300 births
• Adhere to facility dress code standards, including covering tattoos and complying with all appearance policies
• Fulfill weekend requirements of 2 weekends every 6 weeks, with night shift weekends potentially including Fridays

• Active, valid RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• BLS certification required
• AWHONN Advanced certification required
• NRP Advanced certification required (must include all 11 components)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records
• Local candidates are welcome to apply

• Experience in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level II Trauma Center hospital environment
• Familiarity with high-volume Labor and Delivery units (300+ births)
• Comfort working in facilities with structured compliance and documentation requirements

• Work at a well-established acute care hospital recognized as a Magnet facility and Level II Trauma Center with 412 staffed beds
• Expected 36 hours per week with complimentary on-site parking
