_Our client, a growing food manufacturer, is looking for a skilled QA Technician (2_  _nd_  _shift) to join their team in Pomona, CA!_

** Pay:** $18-$20 per hour

** 2pm - 10:30pm with OT

** 6-month contract- hire

* Position Summary:

*
* The Quality Assurance Technician plays a vital role in supporting production processes and maintaining product quality in a food manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for conducting inspections, audits, and quality checks; collecting and analyzing samples; investigating product complaints; and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

* Key Responsibilities:

*
* + Support production processes and remain accessible to production staff.

+ Conduct quality checks, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with specifications.

+ Collect, log, and retain product samples for testing and traceability.

+ Investigate customer complaints and perform product inspections as needed.

+ Maintain accurate documentation and retain samples per company policy.

+ Ensure compliance with company quality policies, food safety standards, and applicable regulations.

* Qualifications:

* + Bachelor's degree in a related field
** or
* * equivalent relevant experience.

+ Strong knowledge of food safety programs and quality assurance principles.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

+ Ability to work a flexible schedule, including potential weekends or off-shifts.

* Preferred Qualifications:

* + Proficiency in an additional language.

+ Experience in food manufacturing, metal detection systems, or laboratory testing.
