Sample Receiving-Shipping Technician – Pomona, CA

The Sample Receiving-Shipping Technician is responsible for shipment of all samples and bottle kits into and out of the laboratory, as well as all documentation and tracking procedures. The role communicates turnaround times and issues with Project Managers, receives and restocks new supplies from vendors, maintains housekeeping in warehouse areas, maintains department SOPs and provides input for process improvements, and assists with training new employees.

• Prepares bottle kits daily to be shipped to clients to collect samples, which are then returned for analysis.
• Forwards samples to other laboratories for tests that are not performed at the location.
• Maintains and organizes the department daily to promote a clean and safe work environment.
• Ships empty coolers back to clients and other laboratories as needed.
• Stocks supplies daily and takes inventory to maintain proper levels.

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
  College Degree preferred.
• Familiarity with MS Office programs such as Outlook, Explorer, Excel, and Word. Database experience is a plus.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write and speak.

This full‑time role is Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2 pm, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Candidates within a commutable distance to Pomona, CA are encouraged to apply.

$19.00 – $24.70 per hour (DOE)
