CMM Programmer / Operator - Pomona, CA
Pay: $25-35/hr based on experience Schedule: 2nd shift Monday-Friday 12:30pm-9:00pm Location: Pomona, CA

Precision Manufacturing OpportunityWe're seeking an experienced CMM Programmer / Operator to support a high-precision toolroom environment. This position will develop and run CMM inspection programs, inspect complex components, and ensure parts meet engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and tight tolerances down to 0.0001 inch.
What You'll Be Doing- Program and operate Zeiss CMM equipment using PC-DMIS and Calypso.
- Inspect machined parts, tooling, fixtures, gauges, and sheet metal components.
- Interpret blueprints, GD&T, dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications.
- Verify true position, profile, flatness, perpendicularity, hole locations, diameters, and other critical features.
- Create, validate, troubleshoot, and improve CMM programs.
- Maintain probe calibration and qualification routines.
- Perform surface-plate and bench inspections as needed.
- Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve inspection and dimensional issues.
- Identify nonconforming material and support continuous quality improvement.
- 5+ years of CMM programming experience
- Strong experience with Zeiss CMM machines
- Proficiency with PC-DMIS and Calypso
- Advanced understanding of GD&T
- Experience inspecting tight-tolerance machined components
- Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills
- Knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection methods
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
- Technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Toolroom or precision manufacturing background
- Experience with Keyence VR-5000 Series measurement systems
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing practices
