CMM Programmer / Operator - Pomona, CA
Pay: $25-35/hr based on experience Schedule: 2nd shift Monday-Friday 12:30pm-9:00pm Location: Pomona, CA

Precision Manufacturing Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced CMM Programmer / Operator to support a high-precision toolroom environment. This position will develop and run CMM inspection programs, inspect complex components, and ensure parts meet engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and tight tolerances down to 0.0001 inch.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Program and operate Zeiss CMM equipment using PC-DMIS and Calypso.
  • Inspect machined parts, tooling, fixtures, gauges, and sheet metal components.
  • Interpret blueprints, GD&T, dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications.
  • Verify true position, profile, flatness, perpendicularity, hole locations, diameters, and other critical features.
  • Create, validate, troubleshoot, and improve CMM programs.
  • Maintain probe calibration and qualification routines.
  • Perform surface-plate and bench inspections as needed.
  • Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve inspection and dimensional issues.
  • Identify nonconforming material and support continuous quality improvement.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of CMM programming experience
  • Strong experience with Zeiss CMM machines
  • Proficiency with PC-DMIS and Calypso
  • Advanced understanding of GD&T
  • Experience inspecting tight-tolerance machined components
  • Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills
  • Knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection methods
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
Preferred
  • Technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Toolroom or precision manufacturing background
  • Experience with Keyence VR-5000 Series measurement systems
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing practices
