Starting Rate: $16.90 per hour
Grocery Clerk - #9 Pomona (ages 16-17) Responsibilities- Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, provide friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service.
- Assist customers, clean display cases, and clean shelves.
- Clean, fill, and rotate self‑serve displays.
- Work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends.
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs), bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees in one‑on‑one or small group situations.
- Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
- Basic PC/Outlook skills.
