Job Title: Analytical Chemist I
Location: Pomona, CA
Pay Rate: $22.00–$24.00/hr
Duration: 6 months

• Perform routine sample preparation and extraction for analytical toxicology testing.

• Conduct routine analyses using LC-MS/MS instrumentation.

• Prepare reagents, standards, controls, calibration solutions, and sample dilutions.

• Execute analytical methods according to approved procedures and study protocols.

• Review analytical data for accuracy, completeness, and laboratory compliance.

• Maintain laboratory notebooks, electronic records, and analytical documentation.

• Perform instrument maintenance, performance checks, and basic troubleshooting.

• Support laboratory investigations, deviations, and corrective actions.

• Follow applicable GMP, GLP, laboratory safety, and quality-system procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Toxicology, or a related scientific discipline.

• 0–2 years of analytical laboratory experience.

• Basic knowledge of chromatographic and mass spectrometry techniques.

• Hands-on analytical laboratory experience with precise pipetting and microliter-volume handling.

• Experience preparing standards, controls, calibration solutions, and sample dilutions.

• Ability to execute established analytical methods and laboratory procedures.

• Experience with analytical data review and laboratory documentation.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS systems.

• Experience in analytical toxicology, pharmaceutical, environmental, or CRO laboratories.

• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO, FDA, or other regulated laboratory quality systems.

• Experience with laboratory investigations, deviations, or corrective actions.
