American Precast Construction is seeking a hands-on Concrete & Fence Installation Foreman to lead fence foundation and concrete installation crews across Northern California. This is a working foreman role, ideal for a field leader who leads by example, stays actively involved in the work, and holds crews to high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
The Foreman will oversee daily field operations, coordinate crews and materials, ensure accurate layout and installation, and keep projects running efficiently and on schedule. This role is critical to delivering durable, high-quality precast fence systems on commercial and public works projects.

Key Responsibilities- Field Leadership & Installation
- Supervise and work alongside installation crews performing fence foundation, concrete, and related construction activities
- Plan, organize, and direct daily work to meet production goals and project schedules
- Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure workmanship meets company standards
- Perform and verify layout of fence lines, post spacing, elevations, and alignment
- Oversee excavation, forming, rebar placement, concrete pours, and finishing
- Coordinate concrete deliveries and manage placement timing and site readiness
- Ensure all installations comply with project plans, specifications, and quality requirements
- Identify and resolve field issues early to prevent rework or delays
- Safety & Jobsite Management
- Enforce company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and safe work practices
- Conduct daily safety talks and routine jobsite inspections
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites at all times
- Ensure crews are working safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations
- Communication & Reporting
- Communicate job progress, schedule updates, and site issues to management
- Provide daily job updates, including production reporting and jobsite photos
- Represent American Precast Construction professionally with clients, inspectors, and general contractors
- Training & Team Development
- Train and mentor crew members on proper installation methods and safety practices
- Reinforce expectations, accountability, and best practices within the crew
- Direct supervision of installation crew members
- Accountability for daily crew performance, safety compliance, and productivity
- Required
- 3-5 years of experience in concrete, fencing, or related construction work
- Prior experience as a lead installer or foreman
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans and layouts
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Preferred
- Experience with commercial or public works fence projects
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions
