Senior Accountant

Overview

The Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger management, job cost reporting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and month-end close. This individual will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting operational decisions, and partnering with leadership to improve processes and reporting efficiency. This role is onsite in Pompano area.

• Oversee all aspects of AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger accounting
• Manage job cost tracking, WIP reporting, and ensure timely and accurate financial statements
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and support annual budgeting and forecasting efforts
• Monitor cash flow, review project billing, and manage subcontractor compliance
• Collaborate closely with project managers and leadership to provide financial insights
• Implement process improvements and strengthen internal accounting controls
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in construction accounting, preferably within commercial construction or manufacturing
• Proficiency with construction accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, Yardi, or Procore)
• Strong understanding of job cost accounting, WIP, and percentage-of-completion
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Base Salary:
  Up to $95-120K+ DOE
