Accounts Receivable Collections Specalist

We’re seeking an experienced B2B Collections Specialist to manage a backlog of aging invoices, conduct proactive outreach, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances. This role requires strong communication skills, confidence on the phone, and the ability to explain contract billing details clearly to customers.

• Make daily outbound calls/emails to customers with past‑due invoices.
• Document all collection efforts, promised payments, and escalations.
• Research inactive/closed accounts and locate updated contacts.
• Work with service, operations, billing, and accounting teams to resolve disputes.
• Use ERP to review invoices, post payments, and log activity.
• Generate AR aging reports and track progress toward goals.

• 3+ years of B2B collections, AR, or related accounting experience (construction/service/repair industries preferred).
• Experience managing aging backlogs and handling challenging customer conversations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (basic formulas, reporting).

This is a Contract position based out of Pompano Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
