A​/R Invoicing Specialist

Join an industry-leading manufacturing organization that specializes in chemical solutions, supporting financial operations and billing processes across multiple locations. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payment processing, and overall efficiency within the accounts receivable function. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity supporting peak seasonal demand through September, with the potential for long-term placement based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:
* Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices based on operational reports and pricing details
* Ensure accuracy of billing, including pricing, freight, and supporting documentation
* Apply customer payments and maintain accurate account records
* Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, short payments, and billing issues
* Perform collections activities, including sending reminders and follow-ups
* Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure billing accuracy
* Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting
* Assist with documentation of billing processes and workflows
* Provide support for additional accounting-related tasks as needed

Required:

* 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or invoicing
* Experience with cash applications and collections
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate)
* General understanding of accounting principles
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Preferred:
* Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environments
* Exposure to general ledger or month-end close processes
* Experience working in ERP systems
* Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
