Senior Accountant Opportunity
Sun Group of Companies is the leader in the produce industry specializing in the import and export of fresh, organic and specialty produce.
We are seeking a senior accountant who is passionate about financial statements, reconciliation of general ledger, and daily bank reconciliations.
Here is a highlight of your daily tasks:
- Daily bank reconciliations and cash position.
- Full reconciliation of the G/L.
- Internal financial & statistical reports.
- Preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Inventory adjustments and reconciliation.
- Accruals control and analysis.
- Monthly expense control.
- Support external auditor during visits.
- Responsible for the budget variations analysis.
- Prepare 1099 information.
- Sales Tax Return.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, reports ad-hoc, analysis and review processes.
- Expert level Excel and Access User.
- 3 years of accounting experience is required with an emphasis on cost accounting and cost transportation accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business.
