Sun Commodities is a privately held company. We are one of the main players in the wholesale of produce in the State of Florida. Sun distributes produce locally, internationally and services the cruise industry.

Secures revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolving discrepancies.

• Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from local deposits.
• Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
• Maintains records of payments.
• High School, AA – degree in Accounting preferred.
• Must be bilingual, speaking English and Spanish.
• Ability to maintain an organized work area.
• Must have excellent data entry skills.
• Must possess general math skills.
• Able to analyze information and pay attention to detail.
• General accounting experience required (GAAP).
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Completes accounting work with a high level of accuracy.
• Must be able to work productively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage and complete multiple responsibilities within established time frames.
