A premier, midsize CPA firm in the greater Fort Lauderdale area is seeking a motivated Tax Senior to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for an ambitious professional looking for a clear, accelerated pathway for career advancement without the bureaucracy of a large firm. You will work closely with managers and partners, gaining high-level exposure to diverse tax projects while enjoying a collaborative, supportive culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and assist with strategic tax planning and research.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, resolving questions and gathering necessary data.
• Mentor and guide junior tax staff, providing feedback and supporting their growth.
• Stay updated on current federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
  3 or more years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Certification: CPA license is not required, but actively pursuing it is preferred.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Environment:
  Experience with in a small-to-midsize public accounting firm is a plus.
• Skills:
  
  Strong technical competency in corporate and partnership taxation.
