The City of Coral Springs Building Department is seeking a Summer Intern.
Rate of Pay:
High School - $12.00
Summer Internships are planned to run from June 8th to July 31st.
The program goal is to introduce high school students to the various aspects of municipal government. The program is designed to provide student with real experience to enhance their academic and professional endeavors. The Intern would be assisting with the new requirements of the Building Safety Inspection Program. The work would involve the following and is very suitable for a motivated high-school or college student:
* Data Entry - Creating Projects in Trakit
* Generating Notices
* Mass Mailings
* Scanning Records
* Routing Projects for Review
* Currently enrolled High School
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
* Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and attend mandatory on-boarding program.
All interns must pass a required background screening:
1. Criminal background investigation
