Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and dedicated Body Shop Painter to join our dynamic team at Performance Collision Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive painting, be punctual, certified, and demonstrate the ability to work well with a team of professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality painting of vehicles following manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure all paint jobs are applied evenly and meet our quality standards.
- Mix and match paint colors to ensure perfect matches to original vehicle color.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Work efficiently and effectively, meeting deadlines and productivity goals.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and timely completion of repairs.
- Assist in the maintenance and proper care of painting equipment and tools.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
- 5+ years of professional body shop painting experience.
- Certified in automotive painting (ASE or equivalent certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with co-workers.
- Must have own tools required for the job.
