Position Overview
The ideal candidate for this position is a recent college graduate, or someone looking to begin a new career path. You will act as the Category Manager’s main support, being involved in all administrative aspects of managing the business.
Essential Functions- Organize and execute daily administrative tasks such as New Product Information Sheets, Maintenance Request Forms, and categorizing products on Power BI.
- Assist with vendor document conversion, pricing analysis, and preparation of vendor price files.
- Run monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc sales reporting from the Power BI system (pre-existing knowledge not required).
- Maintain detailed notes for collaborative vendor meetings, manage the team project list, and track next steps to meet deliverables.
- Act as a liaison with Marketing, Purchasing and Data teams to ensure timely and accurate vendor ads, price lists, and maintenance requests, reviewed by the Category Manager.
- Set up and maintain new items in the system, with direction from the Category Manager.
- Ensure system data integrity, including digital assets for the website.
- Manage workflow of vendor paperwork for Marketing, Trade Shows, and Vendor Data Sheets.
- Assist with show book preparation (seasonal) and other ad‑hoc duties.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; clear and concise communication is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Undergraduate degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain, Marketing background a plus).
- Boating or RV experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLookup.
- Strong multitasking ability and capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Potential for minimal travel (e.g., trade shows).
CompensationThe anticipated pay range for this position is $62,800 to $90,500 annually, depending on experience and business needs. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
