KEITH is looking for a Project Controls Coordinator to join our team in Pompano Beach, FL. We are looking for positive individuals to fit our energetic culture. What you'll do: The Project Controls Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by assisting the executive leadership and project management team in managing project scheduling, accounting, and documentation.
Project Scheduling:

• Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Coordinate with PMs to monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Identify and mitigate scheduling risks and conflicts.

Project Accounting:

• Responsible for project billing, accounts receivable and consultant billing.
• Assist in the development of project proposals with project team
• Assist with preparing proposal budgets, fee structures, labor assumptions, and basic pricing components.
• Assist in tracking project budgets and financial forecasts.
• Prepare and analyze cost reports, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist with invoice preparation and validation of labor/expense entries.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Project Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
• Support the review of contract terms, including fee type, billing terms, and retainage.
• Ensure all project documents are organized and accessible.
• Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation.

What you'll need:

This position requires a background in finance, accounting, or administration, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and forward-learning environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 0-2 years experience in project controls, scheduling, accounting, documentationor a related role within Engineering, Architecture, or Construction industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within project controls.
