The Dock Experts is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our team and drive the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between project teams, contractors, and clients, ensuring that all aspects of the project are coordinated efficiently. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Daily review of scheduling calendars to keep crews accountable to timelines, make adjustments to calendars daily as needed.
  • Communicate with sales and clients a project timelines and updates
  • Report directly to the Construction Manager and work closely alongside to execute projects successfully.
  • Coordinate field crews and subcontractors, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality workmanship.
  • Communicate daily with crew leaders regarding work plans, priorities, and timelines.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and company standards.
  • Report directly to and work closely alongside the Construction Manager to support daily operations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for proactive client communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Own and manage the end-to-end coordination process, ensuring consistency and follow-through
  • Communicate schedules, expectations, and updates clearly to field teams
  • Dispatch jobs efficiently and coordinate resources to maximize productivity and utilization
  • Partner with the Sales team to align project timelines, handoffs, and customer expectations
  • Maintain, and adjust project calendars to ensure accuracy and optimal scheduling
  • Coordinate communication across internal teams, external partners, and clients
  • Provide regular project updates to clients, addressing questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Handle client issues professionally, with strong de-escalation and problem-resolution skills
  • Ensure consistent communication standards and operational efficiency across all teams
Qualifications
  • Degree in Construction Management preferred, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of construction scheduling experience, preferably in marine or heavy civil construction.
  • Strong understanding of marine construction methods and sequencing.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting constraints, and safety requirements for marine work.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
  • Marine construction scheduling experience is preferred.
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills.
