Construction Superintendent

Position Summary

The Construction Superintendent (Subcontractor – Interior Finishes) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site interior finish activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contract specifications for Division 8 and 10.

• Supervise daily on-site operations related to interior finishes including doors, millwork, and final trim.
• Ensure all work meets project specifications, building codes, and quality standards; conduct inspections and address deficiencies.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Serve as primary on-site contact between general contractor, project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Oversee delivery, staging, and usage of materials to prevent delays or shortages.
• Identify and resolve construction, scheduling, or design issues.
• Maintain daily reports, progress logs, photos, and documentation.
• Manage punch list completion and final project closeout.

• Minimum 1-5 years’ experience in construction supervision, specifically in interior finishes
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• OSHA certification preferred
• Experience with construction management software is a plus
• Active construction site and corporate office.
• Professional appearance and demeanor representing Bari Builders
• Phone responsiveness and representation to general contractors
• Working knowledge of company scope (doors, hardware, etc.)
• Base salary starting at $70,000+ (depending on experience)
