We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator specializing in Asphalt and Site Construction to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, analyzing project plans and specifications, and collaborating closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors. Your expertise will help ensure competitive pricing, effective cost control, and successful project execution from inception to completion.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction projects while honing your skills in estimation, negotiation, and project management.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in construction estimating with a focus on asphalt paving, heavy civil and site development projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management practices, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Heavy Bid; experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to achieve favorable terms.
- Solid understanding of construction site operations, safety standards, and cost control measures.
- Prior involvement in project management or construction management roles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to ensure deadlines are met, with accuracy in all estimates and documentation.
