We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Contractor Project Manager to lead the successful execution of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion.

Ideal Candidate
  • A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of experience in the commercial construction industry, overseeing all aspects of ground‑up healthcare projects.
  • Ability to manage more than two projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of coordinating multiple teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project reporting software, MS Office, and blueprint reading.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Proactive, results‑oriented decision making.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites (up to 30% of the time).
Requirements

  • Basic understanding of the construction process, including materials and equipment.
  • 3‑5 years minimum of project management experience.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the project budget, write contracts, approve invoices, and update the project schedule.
  • Coordinate among subcontractors and resolve issues or conflicts that arise during the job.
  • Organize, process, and distribute pertinent project documents.
  • Create the project schedule.
  • Expedite documents and material/equipment deliveries to meet the project schedule.
  • Maintain cost control data and prepare cost reports.
  • Maintain mutually satisfying long‑term relationships with customers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and employees.
  • Develop short‑interval schedules for weekly coordination meetings.
  • Implement and track LEED requirements.
  • Administer document control for shop drawings, submittals, subcontracts/Purchase Orders, insurance certificates/Bonds, RFIs, plans and specifications, warranties/as‑built manuals, notices to owner/lien releases, construction bulletins, change order requests, and back charges.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals to verify compliance with contract documents.
  • Process subcontractor payments and vendor invoices.
  • Attend project‑related meetings and assist with minutes and attendee roster.
  • Write weekly reports with notes from the superintendent.
  • Manage close‑out procedures and activities.
  • Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed at the project site.
Physical Demands
  • Typically works in an office environment using a computer, telephone, and other equipment.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. Generally, the job requires 70% sitting, 15% walking, and 15% standing.
  • Frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle, or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to use stairs for fire drills and emergencies.
Work Environment

The noise level is typical of an office. Occasionally, the job may contain frequent interruptions. The position is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
