Event Production Assistant

John Knox Village is seeking a Per Diem Event Production Assistant to ensure that residents, guests, employees and visitors enjoy wonderful events, shows, and activities thanks to acoustics, visual aids, and room setup. This is an exciting, dynamic position that involves planning, organization, and good communication skills.

• Ensure that events, including sound, lights, and backstage, are prepared and tested prior to event start time.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings to remain up to date on all events and shows planned and organized at John Knox Village.
• Complete set-ups (tables, chairs, A/V equipment, decorations) and ensure that lighting, sound, staging, and video equipment is operational at all times.

We would like to speak to those who have 2+ years of experience working as a theatrical or A/V technician, activities or a related field. Must be proficient with basic sound, video, staging, and lighting coordination with a good understanding of technology (computers, PowerPoint, videos). You must have the ability to set up and break down tables, chairs, equipment, climb ladders, and be able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

Please be available to work a flexible schedule since events are scheduled 7 days a week.
