Role Description
This full-time Urban Forester role is an on-site position based in Coconut Creek, FL. The Urban Forester will oversee tree preservation, canopy planting, replacement, and maintenance, while coordinating with other staff, residents and the business community to ensure preservation and sustainable urban development. Daily tasks may include implementing landscape plans, advising on tree care and health, public outreach, overseeing tree inspections, and coordinating special projects and activities.

Qualifications
- Experience and expertise in Forestry management
- Knowledge of tree health assessments, preservation techniques, and plant species
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
- Must have Landscape Inspectors Association of Florida (LIAF) certification and Florida Association of Code Enforcement (F.A.C.E.) certification level I.
- Must be an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist.
