Preschool Assistant Time

St. Coleman Catholic School in Pompano Beach, Florida is seeking a full-time Preschool Assistant for the 2025-26 school year. The applicant must be a nurturing, creative, and dedicated professional with the ability to develop lessons that cultivate critical thinking skills, design instructions to motivate and engage all learners, and to develop thematic units. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Archdiocese of Miami.

• CDA (Child Development Associate) or FCCPC (Florida Child Care Professional Credential) preferred.
• Child Care Training completed.
• Universal Precautions/Exposure Plan course from DCF.
• Safe Sleep/Shaken Baby Syndrome Training.
• Current CPR course.
• Strength in creating a warm, welcoming environment for students and families.
• Ability to provide a hands-on approach enabling children to discover, learn, and critically solve problems about the world.
• Good spelling and grammar are required.
• Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Must be of good moral character and supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
