OverviewSalary Range $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 Salary/year
DescriptionCreates and implements a flexible program and classroom environment favorable to student learning and personal growth. Develops lesson plans consistent with established guidelines. Establish effective rapport with students, staff members, and parents. Responsible for providing assistance to the Academy Director and teachers with the implementation of educational curriculum that matches the federal, state, and school mandates to increase the achievement of all the students in the school.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (BA) from an accredited college or university or equivalent

Valid Florida Driver's License
HIV, CPR/First Aid Certifications
Valid Florida Educator's Certificate or eligible for a Florida Certificate in Preschool or Primary/Pre-K Education, or any subject within exceptional student education (ESE)
Pre-K Disability Endorsement
Department of Children and Families 45 Hours Child-care Course
Department of Children and Families Staff Credentials
Department of Education Statement of Status of Eligibility
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of students, parents or employees of the organization.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Provides directions to teacher assistant(s) assigned to the classroom.
