POSITION: SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY - TRACK CROSS COUNTRY (GIRLS) (HEAD COACH)

Work Location:

BLANCHE ELY HIGH, POMPANO BEACH

Provide leadership and coaching for the girls' track and cross country program, overseeing training, competition preparation, and program development.

• Plan and implement training programs for track and field and cross country teams.
• Manage practice sessions, organize meets, and ensure safe coaching practices.
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress and eligibility as required.
• Coordinate scouting, drill development, and skill progression.

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of GED.
• Florida Educator Certificate or equivalent. If not held, must obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
• Knowledge of track and cross country; ability to impart knowledge to participants.
• Computer skills as required for the position.
