A&P Mechanic

Overview

DAHER Aircraft Inc. is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to join our Pompano Beach facility. This site is a U.S. Part 145 aircraft maintenance and service center, providing maintenance, repair, inspection, and technical support for Daher’s TBM and Kodiak turboprop aircraft. The facility supports both individual owners and commercial operators, performing airframe, power plant, propeller, and systems maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer data.

The site also plays a role in training and mentoring aviation maintenance professionals, reinforcing Daher’s commitment to safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within its global aircraft support network.

• Perform and lead advanced maintenance, repairs, and inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications (IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc.).
• Serve as a technical expert and mentor to junior mechanics, providing guidance and oversight on maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Conduct detailed diagnostics and troubleshooting of airframe structures, powerplants, and aircraft systems.
• Oversee and execute complex repairs and modifications, including component overhaul, system calibration, and structural repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team and service management to resolve technical issues and streamline processes.
• Maintain safe work practices and support continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance operation.

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification required.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in aviation maintenance, with demonstrated expertise in turbine-powered aircraft; TBM or other turboprop experience strongly preferred.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) designation preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills.
• Proficiency with aviation maintenance software and digital documentation tools.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree in aviation maintenance technology preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

• The compensation range starts at $38.00 per hour in base salary plus an annual target bonus. The offered salary is specific to each candidate's skill level and experience.
