Daher’s Pompano Beach, Florida site is a key U.S. Part 145 aircraft maintenance and service center, providing maintenance, repair, inspection and technical support for Daher’s TBM and Kodiak turboprop aircraft. The facility serves individual owners and commercial operators and performs hands-on airframe, power plant, propeller and systems maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer data. The site also plays an important role in training and mentoring aviation maintenance professionals, reinforcing Daher’s commitment to safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

DAHER Aircraft Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior A&P Mechanic to join our team at the Pompano Beach facility. This role is ideal for a highly skilled aviation maintenance professional with at least eight years of hands-on experience, ideally with turboprop aircraft such as the TBM and Kodiak series. The Senior A&P Mechanic will perform and oversee complex maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks on aircraft, engines, and components, ensuring compliance with FAA and company standards.

• Perform and lead advanced maintenance, repairs, and inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications (IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc.)
• Serve as a technical expert and mentor to junior mechanics, providing guidance and oversight on maintenance procedures and best practices
• Teach and coach junior mechanics and work well in team settings
• Conduct detailed diagnostics and troubleshooting of airframe structures, powerplants, and aircraft systems
• Oversee and execute complex repairs and modifications, including component overhaul, system calibration, and structural repairs
• Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual
• Document maintenance performed and maintain familiarity with logbook entries
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team and service management to resolve technical issues and streamline processes
• Maintain safe work practices and support continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance operation

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification required
• Inspection Authorization (IA) designation highly preferred
• Eight or more years of progressive experience in aviation maintenance, with demonstrated expertise in turbine-powered aircraft; TBM or other turboprop experience strongly preferred
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, mechanical and avionics skills
• Able to work with minimal or no supervision
• Engine run and taxi experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge of aviation maintenance software and digital documentation tools required
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree in aviation maintenance technology preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

• The compensation range starts at $48.00 per hour in base salary plus an annual target bonus. The offered salary is specific to each candidate’s skill level; final offer depends on level of experience.
