Product Support Engineer

We’re looking for an individual to join our multinational application engineering group to perform application development and testing for our high‑tech control and safety system and associated software. This position is based in our Pompano Beach, Florida headquarters.

• As a member of the product development team, perform final qualification of new products, as well as changes to existing products.
• Work with field engineers responsible for developing responses to customer requests for a proposal and work on the applications necessary to meet their requirements.
• May be required to travel to customer location in order to provide on‑site technical support or product training (5%).

• Advise existing customers on solutions to their issues and advise them on proper implementation of their system.
• Meet with customers and provide seminars and training.
• Able to continuously exhibit the highest levels of professional discretion as a technical representative of RTP in all customer relationships.
• Energetic, curious, resourceful, highly creative and self‑motivated. Able to thrive in a fast‑moving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Candidate must have strong oral & written communication skills in English to include the ability to provide group presentations in a seminar environment and capable to coordinate highly technical discussions as a member of the product development and project engineering teams.
• Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years working in a product support environment.
